Greetings, everyone!
It’s been a long time since our last official update (r1028, released in May 2010), and that’s because we’ve been busy tweaking our new major functionality, Channels, which is the draft name for our cloud-based data synchronization service. Now it’s been testing for over three months, and we’ve collected a tremendous amount of data from our beta testers. So we’d like to say THANK YOU to those who have participated this beta program and provided us with important feedbacks.
During this beta period, we were able to locate and fix many major and minor issues. And one of the things we’ve learned, is that the name, Channels, is not informative enough and some times could confuse people a little bit. So, we’ve decided to make it easier to understand by changing the name from Channels to Workspace. This way people will never get confused about the number of Workspaces and users. We’re extending this beta program to later this year, while we’re preparing the final launch of the service (web-based management, inbox access, AND an iPhone app!).
Now, let’s move our focus back to our new release. Today, we’re excited to bring you our latest release, Pagico v4.3 r1072. This release brings the Workspace feature to everyone (although you’ll still need to sign up for invitations before you can use the service), and some minor tweaks and bug-fixes. For those who can’t wait, simply visit the download page and get started.

Release Notes
The Pagico v4.3 package for Ubuntu is still being prepared and will be released momentarily. Since we’ve had a lot of feature additions lately, not all the languages are fully localized as of this moment. We are working on it to finish the localization as soon as possible. At the mean time, those not-yet-translated phrases will appear in English.
The iPhone app
As mentioned earlier, we are working on an iPhone app for Pagico. The iPhone version will not be a full-featured Pagico, but rather it’ll provide basic access to your Inbox and Workspace data (read and write on-the-go!). In this way it’ll not be too heavy for small screen devices. We’re experimenting with some cross-platform solutions, so that an Android app won’t be too far away when the iPhone version is done. More details will be disclosed later.
All right, so far for today! Go ahead and upgrade: it’s another FREE updates to all version 4 users!
