Hey friends! Today we are excited to let you know that the next Pagico update, the September 2024 edition, brings yet another new feature that is guaranteed to boost your productivity instantly! The new feature is called Rapid Day Planner, which will replace the Today view that has been in Pagico for a little over 4 years so far.
The Rapid Day Planner
The new Rapid Day Planner is intended to help you do daily planning (or nightly planning) REALLY quickly. It is designed in a complete keyboard-friendly way, where you can simply type out your action items without touching your mouse or touchpad at all. Here’s how this feature looks like in action:
As you can see, the new Rapid Day Planner is optimized for speed. You can get started with a single tap of the ENTER key (or you can click on the “+” button if you like). There is also no latency when creating new items. Switching your caret up and down among your tasks is just a few key strokes away. Something that seems small but makes a huge difference here is the integrated ability to assign tasks to projects or contacts: You can select the desired save destination with just a few key strokes.
Rescheduling is also easy as before – for example, you can drag a task from the Backlog bin to your Today bin, or a task from the Today bin to the Tomorrow bin.
Lastly, the Rapid Day Planner feature was also designed to support nightly planning. You can set up your tasks in the Tomorrow bins each night, and the next day Pagico will shift these tasks to the Today bin automatically while preserving your custom task sequence.
