An update on the upcoming Channels feature

Hi all, today I just wanted to give you folks an update on the upcoming Channels feature, which allows teams to share data (projects and contact profiles) easily and stay synchronized effortlessly.

Where we are at the moment

Right now, we’re very close to the public beta program that we’ve planned for a long time, and we’ve been extensively testing  Channels for quite a few weeks. The results are encouraging! We were able to locate and fix many hidden bugs in the past few weeks, and we’re very confident to bring the Channels features to you in the next few weeks.

Why it’s taking so long

Since this is going to be a version one product (service), and it involves YOUR data, we decided to go with a more conservative route — opening the public beta ONLY when we’ve sorted out all issues that we can find. Locating and fixing issues in a regular application is pretty hard (at times), and it literally is a hundred times more difficult for cloud-based services! So, I’m sure you’re with us on this one, and it will be totally worth the wait.

Please stay tuned!

The sign-up form for the public beta program is going to be opened very soon, and like we’ve mentioned before, we’ll slowly open this service to teams (on a first come, first served basis). So all you need to do now, is to stay tuned. Subscribe to the RSS feed of our blog, or follow our twitter feed.
