We can’t be happier when we finally fixed this issue. If you’re an european or asian users, you probably have already found out that no “special” character is allows in your database file name or anywhere in the entire pathname. So, if your user name contains one or more of those special characters, you simple can’t have your Pagico database anywhere in your home folder, which is really a bummer. Also, if you have one or more special characters in the titles of your topic groups, well, you can’t open these groups any more, nor can you delete them.
So now, with our upcoming Pagico 4, these issues are no longer problems any more — we’re bringing better unicode support into the Pagico 4, so from now on you can feel free to name your database (and your collections)! Yay! 🙂
